The Patriarchate of Georgia offers its condolences regarding the death of the dedicated bishop - Metropolitan Amfilohije.  His departure from this world is a great loss for both the Serbian and the world’s Orthodox Churches. 

He was an example to many generations of clergymen through his many years of God-pleasing service.

May God grant the immortal soul of the Metropolitan Amfilohije to join the celebrating church.
